Two years ago our recognition supplier was X; last year it was Y, and effective January 2005, we've been working with C.A. Short. One may say that we're a difficult customer to be so small (approx. 6,000 employees). Though there were highs and lows with the previous suppliers, its been all "cookies and cream" with C.A. Short. 
We were very upfront and clear about our previous disappointments and future expectations and requirements. Our program is global and we wanted honest feedback about what C.A. Short could and could not do. C.A. Short representatives visited us and provide the standard "dog and pony show". 
It was after we completed a site visit of their North Carolina facility and met with the individuals who manage the day-to-day activities that we were assured that our initial instincts about C.A. Short were to be trusted. My day-to-day contact is professional, competent and reliable, rapidly responding to any inquiry or request. We recently completed a first quarter summary and are glad to report that we are very satisfied with C.A. Short as our supplier of choice for this program.
Employee feedback has been great but more importantly, Management feedback and involvement has increased favorably. The transition has been a smooth one.
